MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

13-Week Contract | 40 Hours per Week

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a high-paying travel opportunity in Philadelphia. This is a full-time weekday contract with a consistent schedule and strong team support.

Schedule Options

• Monday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  OR
• Tuesday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Verify diagnosis, prescriptions, Epic orders, and patient identification
• Obtain patient history and screen for surgeries, implants, and contraindications
• Explain procedures thoroughly and obtain contrast consent as needed
• Verify GFR prior to contrast administration
• Place angiocatheters and administer IV MRI contrast under Radiologist direction
• Operate MRI scanner, RF coils, workstations, and monitoring equipment
• Ensure high-quality imaging and proper archiving
• Perform quality assurance testing per protocol
• Monitor patient safety and wellbeing throughout procedures
• Assist radiologists and healthcare team members as needed
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, TJC, DOH, and safety regulations
• Maintain and rotate inventory supplies
• Respond to emergency situations per department policy
• Communicate equipment or image quality concerns promptly

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an approved Radiologic and/or MRI Technology program
• ARRT (MRI) required
• MRI Certification required
