SHIFT NOTES: 11AM-8PM; SAT/SUN EOW 3-11:30; WEEKS WHERE THEY WORK WEEKEND, THEY'D HAVE 1 WEEKDAY OFF

Required Certifications

ARRT, BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), California Fluoroscopy license

Department Overview

Number of scanners/rooms: 3 scanners
Floating requirements: Must cover X-ray and CT
Types of imaging/studies performed: Head, abdomen, pelvis
Assist with procedures: No

Experience Requirements

GE scanner experience preferred
Must be flexible and adaptable
Open and willing to work with department needs

EMR/PACS: Centricity (for tracking)

Staffing Structure

Lead Tech available 24/7
No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
Radiologist in-house until 6:00 PM
After 6:00 PM, studies sent to external radiology
Two techs scheduled at all times
Would not be the only tech in-house

IV starts required: No

Scheduling

Manager creates the schedule
8-hour shifts
- Start times: 8:00 AM, 3:30 PM, 11:00 PM
Every other weekend required
Holiday flexibility required
No call or standby requirement
