Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professionals in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile.

• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: nights, 1800-0630. Every third weekend (Saturday/Sunday)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: 1800-0630, every 3rd weekend
• Call Requirements: no
• Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Years of Experience: 3
• Float Requirements: float between the three Med/Surg units in Lafayette. Previous Travel nurse with Epic experience
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 27-30
• Patient Ratios: 1:5, 1:6
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, Kangaroo pumps, vein light, Pyxis for meds, Vocera communication device
• EMR: Epic
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous travel Med/Surg experience, telemetry, Epic use.
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: general and ortho post-op care, managing Heparin drips, blood administration
• Type of Patients on Unit: Ortho and general surgeries, back surgeries, GI issues, renal, oncology, general medical
• Personality Fit: independent but not afraid to ask questions. Can handle a fast-paced unit and be flexible.
Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: navy blue
• Any unacceptable attire: non-Franciscan sweatshirts or jackets. No facial piercings.
