Description

Unit: Radiology - # machines: 1 Siemens 64 slice CT’s, 1 Siemens 128 Slice CT, 1 Radiology Fluoro, 1 Rad, 3 Portables, 4 C-Arms - Certs: BLS, ARRT (R, CT), California CRT with Fluoro permit, and 3-5 years’ experience required - for all Radiology. - Procedures per day: 80 per day between XR and CT - EMR: Cerner - Holidays: Rotate with core staff - Scrub Color: Teal scrubs - radiation badge as well (Travelers must provide their own) - Tele: NA - Vents: NA - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: nsite radiologist 7 days a week from approximately 0800 - 1700, with a teleradiologist available during the off hours. - Charge Nurse: Lead on Day and Swing Shifts - Nurse Aides: No - IV Team: NA - RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes - Floating: Portable CXR anywhere in house. CT, C-arms, Xray, Fluoro - Floor specific orientation: 3 Day Orientation - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Siemens Sensation 64 CT’s, Siemens Edge 128, Carestream and GE portables, OEC C-arms, Philips Rad and R/F - Additional Notes: "Needs to be able to work well with others and have a positive attitude. Promote positive experience" -Unit has patient transportation available as department resources.
