Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist to join a fast-paced cardiovascular services department within an acute care hospital. This lab supports a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and operates in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.

This position is ideal for a tech who is confident scrubbing, comfortable in GE labs, and adaptable to frequent call requirements.

Schedule

• 4x10 Hour Day Shifts
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Frequent call required (flexibility is essential)

Unit Details

• 4 Cath Lab rooms (1 patient per room)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 22 total staff (RNs & Techs)
• GE Innova rooms
• Documentation: Meditech & MacLab
• Unit scrubs available (Red & Gray in Cath/EP)

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Scrub and circulate as needed
• Support special procedures in GE Innova labs
• Maintain sterile technique
• Provide hemodynamic monitoring
• Collaborate with RN and physician teams in a high-volume setting

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Experience in Special Procedures
• Experience with GE Innova systems

Preferred

• RCIS certification
• Strong experience in cardiac cath and interventional procedures
