Every other weekend and holiday. - We don’t have a certain time frame that they rotate. They might work 3 weeks days than 3 weeks nights one schedule cycle and the next schedule cycle all days or all nights. All depends on the unit needs. - The travelers can self schedule however they are only guaranteed to have the days off that are listed on their contract and during balance may be moved off a shift that they self-scheduled to balance the unit. If staff do need a specific day off and we can’t support it as the switch would off balance our unit we ask them to find someone to trade with like we do our badge staff. There is usually high success in finding someone to switch with. - When we balance the schedule we are very mindful that staff aren’t flipping back and forth from days to nights frequently.
