Description

Shift

Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: Every other weekend with one weekday off that week
Shift Length: 8 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

As a CT Technologist, typical responsibilities include:

Performing CT Scans: Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients.
Patient Care: Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Image Quality & Accuracy: Monitor image quality and adjust scanning techniques as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
Charting & Documentation: Document procedures and maintain accurate records in the EPIC system.
Safety Compliance: Follow radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
Certifications Required: Maintain BLS (AHA) certification and adhere to CT-specific standards.

Experience & Education Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT (Computed Tomography) Education: No BSN required (degree/certification in radiologic technology or CT preferred) Licenses & Certifications License: Must have a valid CT Technologist license (state-specific) Required Certifications: BLS (AHA) – Basic Life Support Other Requirements Must be able to chart in EPIC Able to work the evening shift schedule (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, every other weekend with a weekday off)
