Travel CT Technologist 
Location: Pompton Plains, New Jersey
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
40 Hours per Week | 8 Hour Shifts
Department: CV Imaging at Cedar Crest
 

Compensation (Travel Package)

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,401
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,561 (Meals & Lodging)
• W2 Hourly Rate: $46/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following physician orders and department protocols.
• Verify patient identification and ensure correct exam requisitions.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents according to venipuncture and injector protocols.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after contrast injections and report any changes.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Maintain sterile fields and prepare necessary radiological supplies for procedures.
• Ensure availability of patient medical records, labs, and imaging history.
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations or patient complications.
• Maintain adequate inventory of contrast media, linen, and procedural supplies.
• Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of CT equipment and rooms after each use.
• Conduct daily QA/QC checks according to departmental and ACR standards.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and report them to the appropriate staff.
• Coordinate workflow and assist in triaging emergent and unscheduled procedures.
• Process and verify images in PACS/RIS systems per established protocols.
• Notify radiologists immediately of urgent or unusual findings.
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completion of an accredited Radiography Program

Required Certifications

• ARRT (R) – Radiography
• ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography
• NJDEP – New Jersey State X-Ray License
• BLS Certification
