Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
Location: Bronx, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Evening (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5 Days/Week | 8-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) to join a dynamic healthcare team in an acute care setting. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures with a focus on cardiac CT scans in the Cath Lab environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, and experience supporting cardiovascular imaging procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform CT imaging procedures while ensuring high image quality and patient safety.
Specialize in cardiac CT imaging within the Cath Lab setting.
Prepare patients for CT procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
Operate CT scanners and associated equipment in accordance with department protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during cardiovascular imaging procedures.
Monitor patients during scans and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
Float to the Radiology department as required.
Ensure equipment functionality and report any issues to the appropriate department.

Skills

Strong expertise in Cardiac CT imaging
Knowledge of CT imaging equipment and protocols
Experience working in Cath Lab or cardiovascular imaging environments
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
ARRT (CT) Certification – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Experience performing Cardiac CT scans – Required
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Willingness to float to the Radiology department if needed
