Description

FULL DOB AND SOCIAL NEEDED FOR SUBMISSION

Position Description

MUST HAVE ABCP certification and a MO perfusionist license

Experience with Spectrum Quantum pumps and Centrifugal pump head (not roller head). Adults only, Avg pump time: 2 and a half hours. Minimal ECMO with Cardiohelp ECMO Pump.

Willing to take call. On average 2 days a week.

Volume: Around 500 hearts per year

Will be at Research Medical Center and Overland Park Regional Medical Center

Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 7 FT, 2 PT Perfusionists. 2 assistants
Type of equipment : Spectrum Quantum HLM, CATS Cell Saver, Cardioquip H/C, Cardiohelp
Documentation system: Viper/Spectrum. Meditech
Scheduling requirements:2 perfusionists on call daily
On Call Requirements: Shared weekly/weekend call
Must have: Must have experience with Spectrum HLM. Minimum 5 years CCP experience.
Procedures performed on unit: CABG,MVR,AVR, Aortic Dissections, TAVR, ECMO initiation
Certifications Required: CCP, Missouri Perfusion License
