Start Date: Fall 26/27 SY

Pay Rate: $1974 - $2034 - Varies based on experience and traveler package

Join a school-based Speech Language Pathologist assignment supporting students throughout the Fall 2026–2027 school year, ending June 3, 2027. This role provides the opportunity to deliver speech and language therapy services that support students’ academic access, communication development, and participation within the school environment.

The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop and monitor IEP goals, deliver direct and consultative services, and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. This position offers a stable full-school-year schedule with strong district support.

Required Qualifications

• Speech Language Pathologist – School
• Required Skills: School experience
• License: Active Virginia SLP license (VA LIC)
• Certifications: ASHA CCCs required
• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Completion of a criminal record and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous school-based SLP experience
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to interpret and explain evaluation results to educators and families
• Experience participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration

Shift & Hours

• Monday–Friday
• 35 hours per week
• Candidate will only be paid for hours worked.
• SLP will NOT be paid for:
  • School holidays
  • School closings due to teacher workdays/workshops
  • Inclement weather closures
