Job Overview

• Minimum Experience Required: 3 years
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Start Date: ASAP
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)
• On-Call: Voluntary
• Floating: Must be willing to float to Perinatal if needed
• Call Placement: RN may be placed on call if not needed for their scheduled shift

• 11 LDR (Labor, Delivery, Recovery)
• 2 Operating Rooms
• NICU & Post-Partum
• 24/7 OB Hospitalist & OB Anesthesia Coverage
• Handles Low and High-Risk Labor & Delivery cases

Patient Population

• Neonates
• Adolescents
• Adults

Required Clinical Skills

• Use of External Fetal Monitoring
• Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulating for C-section procedures

Unit Systems

• SBAR
• Omnicell
• eMD Allscripts

Required Certifications

• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Advanced

Flu Vaccine Policy (Facility Guideline)

• Flu Vaccine Required
• Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed

RTO (Requested Time Off) Guidelines

• RTO must be included at the time of submission
• No RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum RTO allowed: 3 days
• Holiday RTO: Only 1 holiday request may be submitted, and approval is not guaranteed
• Travelers are expected to work most holidays
• Once RTO is submitted, it cannot be changed unless it is to cancel the requested time off. Ensure all required dates off are confirmed for the full 13-week contract before submission.
