Speech‑Language Pathologist (Clinical Fellow) | 26/27 School Year | Denver, CO
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (CF‑SLP) to join a district in Denver for the 2026–2027 school year!
This is a full‑time, onsite position supporting a diverse student population across one or more school sites within the district. This district is highly supportive of new graduates and offers a well‑structured mentorship model with dedicated CF mentors on staff.
This role is ideal for a new clinician who is passionate about working in a collaborative school environment, serving students with a wide range of communication needs, and growing professionally with strong district‑provided support.
Key Details
- Start Date: Approx. August 10, 2026
- End Date: Approx. May 29, 2027
- Hours: Up to 40 hours/week, onsite only
- Caseload: Approx. 50 students, adjusted based on workload model
- License Required: Colorado SLP license + Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
- CFs Accepted: Yes, the District loves CFs!
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Eligible for/holding a Colorado SLP License and CDE License
- Acceptance into a Clinical Fellowship program (new graduates welcome)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in schools, pediatrics, or early childhood settings
- Strong understanding of speech and language development
- Familiarity with assessment tools and therapeutic approaches
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential documentation
Role & Support Structure
- Assignments are created using a workload-based model, accounting for:
- Service minutes
- Caseload and case management responsibilities
- IEPs, evaluations, and re-evaluations
- Department meetings and professional tasks
- Providers may serve multiple school sites
- Access to:
- Centralized assessment library
- Bilingual assessment team and interpreter support
- Two dedicated district CF mentors (for those not receiving AMN mentorship)
- Union rules apply to contractors:
- No recess/lunch duty
- No para coverage or subbing
