Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg/Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage multiple patients, and experience working with electronic medical record systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg/Acute Care setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (Cerner preferred)
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – California
• Experience in Med Surg/Acute Care setting
• Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible hours

Required Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (required within 6 months of hire)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (required within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cerner EMR system (please indicate on profile)
• Recent hospital experience

Additional Notes:

• No specific scrub color required
• Stable patient ratios (1:4)
• No call or floating required
