Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to manage multiple patients, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety standards
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care processes
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems

Required Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of Practice (California)
Experience in an acute care facility
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

Required Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support / CPR)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Experience in Med Surg nursing
