HOUSING: FREE HOUSING ON 1ST CONTRACT
Position: DUAL MODALITY CT TECH/XRAY TECH
•HS Diploma
ARRT/NYSDOH Lic.
BLS AHA

Sunday Day Shift, Monday Day Shift, Friday Day, shift and Saturday Day floating shift with an occasional evening shift for coverage-(off days are Tues/Wed/Thursday) the hours are 6:30 am-4pm-this is a 36 hours a week assignment.
CAT SCAN TECH
Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust. Capable of working independently/unsupervised. Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of Cat Scan Imaging Exams. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions. Maintain and exhibit behavior that promotes patient confidence and trust. Must produce computerized tomographic scanner Radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed according to established policies and procedures. Must prepare or enter written documentation as required by the department such as informed patient consent, patient chart documentation, and other related duties. Must observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary. Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis. Asses the physical needs of the adult and geriatric patients. Demonstrate the ability to recognize and ally patients' fears and apprehensions about exams. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Complete requested examinations in a timely manner, observing radiation safety standards. Address the special needs of each age group served and assist in making reasonable accommodations for the hearing impaired, physically challenged or any other patients who may enter the Hospital. Observe Bio-Safety and Radiation safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities and duties may be added, changed or deleted at any time at the discretion of the Assistant Director of Radiology and Director of Radiology either verbally or in writing. Performs related duties in PACS. Responsible for knowing and adhering to established hospital/department policies and procedures, including all aspects of safety. Must complete requested examinations in a timely manner, observing radiation safety standards. Must be computer literate. Must select and operate equipment as directed. Must be aware and able to prevent Sentinel Events.
RADIOLOGY TECH
Demonstrate proficiency in the performance of all diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations and equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of pediatric immobilization devices adhering to safety precautions. Must prepare or enter written documentation as required by the Department, such as informed patient consent, patient chart documentation, and other related duties. Perform portable and operating room examinations in a timely and professional manner, must observe sterile and aseptic techniques when necessary. Check equipment, supplies and accessories on a regular basis. Assess the physical needs of the adult and geriatric patients. Demonstrate the ability to recognize and ally patients' fears and apprehensions about exams. Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Complete requested examinations in a timely manner, observing radiation safety standards. Address the special needs of each age group served and assist in making reasonable accommodations for the hearing impaired, physically challenged or any other patients who may enter the Hospital. •High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
•Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology
•NYSDOH License Required
•ARRT Required.
