Travel Cath Lab Tech

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a combined Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology department. This role involves assisting physicians during invasive cardiovascular and interventional procedures while maintaining a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The Cath Lab Tech will work across multiple procedural areas, supporting a wide range of cases and collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Schedule: 5x8 hour day shifts
• Shift Time: Approximately 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrubs: Provided by facility

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and interventional radiology cases
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with scrubbing procedures
• Monitor patients during procedures and support the care team
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record
• Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab as needed

Requirements

• Active certification as a Radiologic Technologist or RCIS
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Fluoroscopy experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Ability to work in Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab settings
• Prior travel experience preferred
