Travel Cath Lab Tech

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a high-volume cardiovascular and interventional department. This role involves assisting physicians during a wide range of cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The Cath Lab Tech will work closely with the procedural team, assist with both scrubbing and monitoring responsibilities, and support complex cases requiring strong technical skill and clinical awareness.

Job Overview

• Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts
• Shift Time: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Charting System: Cerner
• Scrubs: Provided by facility

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, and interventional radiology cases
• Perform both scrub and monitoring roles during procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
• Monitor hemodynamics and support patient care throughout procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
• Support complex cardiovascular and vascular interventions
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary procedural teams

Requirements

• Active ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Experience with cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and interventional procedures
• Experience with moderate sedation processes and airway management
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and support high-acuity cases
• No first-time travelers

Additional Details

• 5 procedural suites including coronary, vascular, peripheral, neuro, and EP labs
• High-volume department with approximately 10–22 cases per day
• Team structure includes multiple techs and nursing support per case
• STEMI receiving facility
