Travel RN – CVOR

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment supporting a high-acuity surgical team. This role involves providing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring safe and efficient perioperative care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

The CVOR RN will be responsible for supporting preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.

• Setting: Acute care hospital

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist in preoperative preparation and intraoperative support
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to surgical protocols
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Support postoperative care and patient recovery

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CVOR experience required
• Operating room experience with cardiovascular cases
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
