Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (RT-R) with strong experience in General Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, ensure high-quality imaging, and maintain compliance with departmental protocols and established clinical standards. This role requires attention to detail, patient-focused care, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
• Ensure accuracy of patient demographics, exam orders, and imaging markers
• Review, critique, and transmit images to PACS after quality assurance
• Document procedure completion or cancellation in RIS
• Utilize RIS, CIS, PACS, and HIS systems for imaging workflow and documentation
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting issues as needed
• Verify patient identity, obtain relevant clinical history, and assess patient condition
• Ensure patient safety, including pregnancy screening prior to radiation exposure
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate patient care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and students; assist in training when needed
• Review daily schedules and manage patient flow efficiently

Required Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT-R)
• Active registry status with continuing education compliance
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences program (Associate’s degree or equivalent)
• Fluoroscopy experience (required)
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and imaging systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical radiology setting
