Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Delegate and supervise tasks assigned to support staff
• Advocate for patients and ensure high standards of care
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of acute care Med/Surg experience (Required)
• Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and provide quality patient care

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Required)
• ADN or BSN accepted

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active California RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification – AHA (Required)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning
• Ability to use electronic medical records and documentation systems
