Cardio Thoracic ICU RN needed, 13 weeks with possible extension
3x12 OR 4x12 (OT billed after 48 on 4x12), nights, weekdays, EOW, Float, Holidays within contract

Cannot accommodate block scheduling! 
48 hour contract with OT after 48 available - PLEASE INDICATE CANDIDATE PREFERENCE

**Candidates will be caring for step down patients too because they use the universal bed model.**
2 years experience in an CVICU/CTICU; travel experience preferred
Must be EPIC proficient, no exceptions
 

BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required
VA OR Compact License in hand at the time of submittal - no exceptions!

Flu vaccines: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed

Skills Required: Arterial line management; Blood Product Administration; Central line care/management; PICC line management; Starting IVs; Continuous IV sedation; Procedural Sedation Administration; Titrate Cardiac drips; Titrate Vasoactive drips; strong neuro experience required (post brain surgery, EVD exp/ventriculostomy); FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure; CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft); Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump; Impella; Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR); Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR); Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention; Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring; IV insulin protocols; CVVHD/CRRT; CVA/Acute Stroke management; Assist with management of BiPAP, CPAP; Care of Ventilated Patient; High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC); Interpretation of ABGs; Suctioning (ETT, NT); Ventilator Management; Infection Prevention; Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE; Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
