Job Description: 

• CT/X-RAY TECH
• MUST HAVE BOTH CT + X-RAY EXPERIENCE
• Tuesday-Friday 12pm-10pm
• No call
• 8 weeks
• CT scanner is a Siemens Somatom Perspective
• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography
• Valid New York State license to inject contrast material preferred; must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• Valid and current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in X-ray
• Knowledge of CT and radiologic standards, requirements and regulations.
• Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations.
• Knowledge of CT and radiologic equipment uses and maintenance.
• Accuracy: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Computer Skills: Proficient ability to use a computer and electronic medical record.
• Confidentiality: Maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality.
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Customer Service Oriented: Friendly, cheerful and helpful to patients and others.
