Unit Details – Surgery Room

28 ORs (including 2 Hybrid CV/Vascular rooms)
60–75 cases/day
Ratios: 1:1
Scrubs provided
First-time travelers accepted

Patient Types

Inpatient / Outpatient / Trauma
GSWs, stabbings, transplants (kidney, heart), donor cases
General, gyn, urology, robotic, vascular, ortho, neuro
Open hearts, CABGs
Hybrid Room: TAVR, AAA, angiograms, fistula revisions
~20% Pediatrics (no liver/lung transplants)

Requirements

Experience:

2–3 years acute care OR
Level 1–2 trauma experience preferred
EPIC experience required

Certifications:

OR RN/CVOR RN: BLS
CST: BLS, CST
CVOR Tech: BLS + certification
Hybrid IR Tech: BLS, ARRT (Siemens experience required)

Skills (OR RN):

Scrub & circulate
Trauma & critical care experience preferred
