Travel Pharmacist – Inpatient Hospital (Multiple Shifts Available)

We are seeking a reliable and clinically capable Travel Pharmacist to support a hospital pharmacy team in a dynamic inpatient setting. This opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of clinical responsibilities and patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Prepare and dispense medications including sterile, non-sterile, and parenteral nutrition products
• Perform clinical functions including renal dosing, pharmacokinetics, and anticoagulation management
• Monitor patient drug therapies for effectiveness and safety
• Provide drug information and education to patients and healthcare staff
• Participate in antimicrobial stewardship and quality improvement initiatives
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support daily workflow
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (required at submission)
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree required
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
