Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, rapid-response care in a fast-paced acute environment. The ideal candidate is able to handle a broad spectrum of medical conditions and trauma cases, while maintaining composure, efficiency, and clinical accuracy. This role may also involve supervising staff on the acute care floor and providing appropriate guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with diverse and urgent medical needs
- Deliver rapid, high-quality nursing interventions during acute illness or trauma
- Multi-task effectively in a high-pressure environment while ensuring patient safety
- Supervise and support clinical staff on the acute care unit
- Communicate clearly with providers, staff, and patient families
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold organizational standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Required Certifications:
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPR/BLS
- TNCC required within one year of hire
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels within the organization
- Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and respect for colleagues
