Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography scans in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate imaging results to support diagnosis and treatment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging techniques for accurate results
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain safety standards and adhere to radiation protection guidelines
• Operate and maintain CT equipment efficiently
• Accurately document patient information and imaging data in the system
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear instructions during procedures

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in imaging
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting systems
• Ability to handle emergency and trauma cases effectively

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
• ARRT (CT) Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA) (Required)
• Ability to work overnight shifts
