Travel CT Technologist | 13-Week Contract | Cooperstown, NY | Day/Evening Rotation

Seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment supporting CT and X-ray imaging services across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Assignment Details:

Location: Cooperstown, NY (13326)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days/Evenings
Schedule Structure:
- Week 1: Mon (12h), Tue (12h), Sat (16h)
- Week 2: Sun (16h), Mon (12h), Tue (12h)
- Week 3: Mon (12h), Tue (12h), Sat (16h)
- Week 4: Sun (16h), Mon (12h), Tue (12h)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures across multiple patient populations
Conduct contrast studies, including initiation and monitoring
Ensure image quality, patient safety, and radiation compliance
Operate imaging equipment and maintain proper functionality
Accurately document imaging procedures in EMR systems
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams

Clinical Scope:

Imaging includes Emergency, Trauma, Neuro, and Orthopedic cases
Patient population: ED, inpatient, outpatient, and procedural cases
Average workload: 12–20 scans per shift per technologist
Equipment: Philips CT systems, GE portable X-ray, C-arms

Requirements (Must-Have):

ARRT (R)(CT) Certification
BLS Certification
New York State Radiologic Technologist License
New York State Injection License (IV contrast)
Experience with CT imaging and contrast administration

Team Structure: Multiple technologists scheduled during day and evening coverage Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekend shifts included On-Call: Not required Work Environment: Hospital-based imaging department with mixed patient acuity Licensure Note: NY State licensing may take 2–4 weeks for processing Compliance: Background check and drug screening required
