1. Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract role at a Level II trauma facility in Chico, CA. This position starts at 7:00 PM, involves weekend rotation, and may require occasional shift flexibility. The role focuses on performing high-quality CT imaging, operating GE scanners, and supporting critical diagnostic needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

3. Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Operate GE CT scanners and manage imaging workflow efficiently
• Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures clearly
• Assist with fluoroscopic procedures as needed, per scope of practice
• Document all procedures in EPIC EMR accurately and timely
• Adhere to radiation safety standards (ALARA) and hospital policies
• Participate in weekend rotations and occasional shift adjustments
• Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout imaging procedures

4. Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CT scanning experience, preferably with GE scanners
• Prior successful completion of traveler assignments
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred

5. Required Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

6. Required Certifications

• California CRT (Certificate of Radiologic Technology)
• ARRT (Radiography and CT) certification
• Fluoroscopy permit
• BLS/CPR certification
