Details of Assignment:

Surg Tech – Hospital MUST BE CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH May be assigned "other" duties within the Surgical Services department during times of low census. Core cleaning. The start times are generally 7am; however, there are times, usually Monday or Tuesday where we may need a late start to cover until 5pm. The expectation for call is 30 minute response time from the call. We use a system called Symplr so a notification is sent through that application to their cell phone. We support General, OB (C-section), GYN, Orthopedics (including total joint replacement), endoscopy, ophthalmology (cataracts usually), and a minor urology cases. One of our general surgeon does radiofrequency ablations for varicose veins as well. Ortho is the primary service and accounts for 45% of our cases.
