Gross Pay: $3,286/week

Schedule: 4×10 Nights | 8:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (Mon–Thurs)

Setting: Level I Trauma Center | EPIC | Philips & Siemens (preferred)

Position Overview

A high‑acuity Level I Trauma Center in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week night‑shift assignment beginning 5/4. This role is ideal for a tech who excels in trauma imaging, maintains strong attention to detail, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scanning, following all safety protocols
• Coordinate with physicians to provide accurate, timely diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
• Insert IVs as needed for contrast studies
• Position patients safely, including assisting those with limited mobility using proper lifting techniques
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC, ensuring images are correctly identified and transmitted to PACS
• Keep the scanning environment clean, organized, and safe
• Perform all routine CT duties in a Level I Trauma setting
• Utilize telemetry equipment as required

Requirements

• Completion of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT (R)(CT)
• Active NYS Radiologic Technologist License
  • Must be obtained prior to start
• Injection therapy certification
  • Required for HCPs currently registered in NYS at time of submission
• BLS (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Level I Trauma Center experience
• Experience with telemetry equipment
• Strong communication skills, compassionate patient care, and ability to work cohesively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Injection certification (if not held, must be willing to complete during orientation)
• Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipment
