RN Med Surg - Med Surg/Oncology

Unit: 4 West
Beds: 32 Bed Unit

Patient Population

Adolescents (13-17 years)
Adults (18-64 years)
Geriatrics (65 years and older)

Required Certifications
Must be attached at submission:

BLS
NIH Stroke Certification

Minimum Experience Requirements

Oncology experience preferred, not required

Preferred:

Oncology experience
ACLS
Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification RN-BC
CCRN
PCCN
CMSRN

Required Skills

Dysrhythmia Exam
CVC line draws
IV starts
Med pass
Use of Hoyer lift
Arjo equipment
Alaris pump
Epidural/PCA pumps
Kangaroo pumps
Wound vacs
High flow O2
