Job Duties:
. Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety

· Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

· Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable.

· Insert IVs when necessary for the test.

· Positions patients, accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.

Job Requirements:

- NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)

- Two (2) Years' Experience

- Level 1 Trauma Center Experience

- Telemetry

- HCP’s currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy   certification stated on their license at time of submission
 

Certifications:
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

- Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and     maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists     (ARRT).
