Description
Non-Negotiable Requirement
- MUST HAVE Siemens CT experience
- No training will be provided (must be fully independent)
Shift Details
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Evening shift)
- Every other weekend required
- Must be flexible to cover some morning shifts if needed
Role Summary
- Perform full range of CT imaging exams
- May function as lead technologist
- Assist with training and mentoring staff when needed
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years CT experience
- Must be comfortable with:
- ER, inpatient, outpatient settings
- High-acuity environments (Level I Trauma, ICU exposure preferred)
- Teaching or community hospital settings
Equipment Experience
- Siemens (required)
- Philips (also used in department)
Common CT Procedures
- Stroke protocol / Code Stroke
- CTA (Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis)
- Head, neck, spine imaging
- Musculoskeletal CT
- Biopsies, drainages, aspirations
- Colonography, myelography
- Brain perfusion studies
- CT arthrograms
- Transplant studies
- Radiation therapy planning
Certifications Required
- BLS
- ARRT (RT credential)
- ARRT Advanced certification
Patient Population
- Adolescents through Geriatrics
Skills Needed
- IV starts
- Contrast administration
- PACS system experience
- Multiplanar reconstruction
- Ability to handle high-volume acute care settings
