Required Skills:

• Proven knowledge of professional nursing practices, techniques, and procedures, especially in maternity and neonatal care.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt to the diverse cultural and language needs of patients and their families.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Experience Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in labor and delivery is required.
• Level 1 experience in labor & delivery is also required.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation.
• Additional certifications in neonatal or obstetric care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required; BSN or MSN is preferred.
• Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing is advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Valid RN license from the appropriate licensing authority or a multistate license (eNLC).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as an Advance Provider or Instructor.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be over 50 miles.
