Travel Cath Lab Technologist (RAD / RCIS)

Location: Must live 50+ miles away
Schedule: Monday–Friday, variable start (7:00–8:00 AM), 8-hour shifts
Call: ~1 weekend/month + 1 day/week
Contract Type: Travel / Contract

Position Overview

The Cath Lab Technologist works in a multidisciplinary cardiac catheterization lab, supporting patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and vascular procedures. The role involves scrubbing and monitoring during procedures and operating radiology imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications

RCIS or RAD certification (required)
BLS & ACLS (required)
2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience
Degree in related field (BA/BS/BSN/AA) or equivalent experience
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality

Key Responsibilities

Scrub and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures
Monitor patients during invasive procedures
Operate radiology imaging and cath lab equipment
Support structural heart, coronary, and peripheral interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team
Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols

Preferred Experience

Structural heart procedures
Diagnostic and therapeutic coronary and peripheral interventions
Additional specialty experience is a plus
