Position Overview

A busy hospital in Johnson City, New York is seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week day‑shift assignment beginning 5/11. This role is ideal for a tech with strong clinical skills, confidence in high‑volume CT environments, and experience with Siemens and GE scanners.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience
• Active NY State Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Privileges
• ARRT (CT)
• BLS (AHA)
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with Siemens and GE CT equipment
• Strong IV/contrast skills and ability to work independently

Shift Details

• 3×12 Day Shifts
• 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
• Full‑time hours guaranteed
• Mix of ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT imaging
• Fast‑paced environment with steady patient volume

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high‑quality CT exams following department protocols
• Insert IVs and administer contrast safely and accurately
• Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and ALARA compliance
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure images are properly routed to PACS
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care in a busy clinical setting
