Description

Shift

Day shift
8 working hours per shift
Contract guarantee: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

Provide skilled home healthcare visits to patients in their homes
Perform wound care (including wound vac management)
Manage and maintain PleurX drains, PICC lines, nephrostomy tubes, and ostomy care
Perform dressing changes and sterile procedures
Conduct blood draws and venipuncture
Support diabetes management care plans
Manage CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) patients
Deliver independent nursing care across varied home environments
Travel to patient homes (approx. 50–75 miles/day) and document care accurately
Coordinate care as needed while working independently in the field

Requirements Active New York State RN License BLS (Basic Life Support) certification 1–3+ years of home care experience At least 1 year recent clinical nursing experience Ability to work independently in patient homes Willingness and ability to travel (approx. 50–75 miles/day) Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition (for field visits) Strong comfort with independent decision-making in homecare settings
