Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Mobile X-Ray
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Job Type: Travel / Contract / Full-Time
 

Job Summary:
 

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing mobile X-Ray (and EKG, if applicable) services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care settings. This role requires strong technical skills, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mobile environment while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and process portable X-Rays using DR or CR radiography equipment
• Transport and operate mobile imaging equipment at various healthcare facilities
• Ensure all images are clinically diagnostic and technically accurate
• Transmit X-ray images to Radiologists for interpretation
• Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to Cardiologists
• Complete and scan all required documentation and billing paperwork daily
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and facility staff
• Maintain assigned vehicle and imaging equipment
• Provide professional patient care and ensure patient safety during procedures

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently in a mobile healthcare environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and travel between facilities

Certifications:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required

Licensure:

• Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License – Required
