Position Overview
- Role: CT & X-Ray Technologist
- Shift: 10-hour night shifts (start times vary ~8 PM)
Facility Details
- Bed Size: 172 beds
- Trauma Level: Level II Trauma Center
- Teaching Hospital: Yes
- Special Note: Only trauma center in Monterey County
- Recognition: Best Hospital in Salinas Valley (2022)
- EMR: Meditech
Equipment
- CT: Siemens (Definition Edge & Definition AS)
- X-Ray: Philips (including portables)
- MRI: Siemens Magnetom Skyra 3T
Required Certifications & Licenses
- ARRT (CT) – REQUIRED
- California Radiologic Technologist License – REQUIRED
- CA Fluoroscopy License – Preferred (often expected)
- BLS (AHA only)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in:
- CT
- X-Ray
- Acute care experience required
- Trauma experience preferred
Additional Requirements:
- 2 professional references (1 supervisor required)
- Skills checklist (within 1 year)
- License verification (within 30 days)
- Background check (full, including aliases)
- Drug screen (9-panel, no marijuana listed)
