Job Description

Patient Population e.g. General Medsurg, Pediatrics, Hemo and Peritoneal Dialysis, Cardiac drips, Post Cardiac Procedures

Specialty: MS/TELE - PEDIATRICS 

Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required 

Call Requirements: None 

Float Requirements: yes, all except M3; helping hands in ER 

Number of Beds: 27 

Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 

Equipment: Sigma Spectrum IV pumps; Ceiling hoyer lift, portable hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defib x2 when transporting, EKG machine 

EHR: Omnicell, Cerner 

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Stroke, CHF, A-fib, arrhythmias, cardiac caths/stents and med-surg 

Requirements:

2YRS+ Exp Working in Specialty 

2YRS+ Exp Working Only in Acute Care Setting 

ACTIVE BLS (AHA)

ACTIVE ACLS (AHA)

ACTIVE PALS (AHA)

Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias 

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Medical management of diagnoses such as DM and PNA, trauma, general surgery, bariatrics, plastics, urology
