Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR) / Circulator:

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality perioperative care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. This role includes opportunities for both general OR nursing and OR Circulator assignments in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Shift Options:

• Option 1: Monday–Friday, 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM (8-hour shifts only; no 10s or 12s)
  • On-call: 4–5 times per month + 1 weekend per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
• Serve as an OR Circulator, ensuring patient safety and maintaining sterile environment
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures and respond to clinical changes
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards

Patient Care Details:

• Unit Type: Inpatient OR
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4, up to 1:6 max

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Strong circulating experience required
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)(AHA)
