Position Summary

The Level 4 Registered Nurse (Operating Room) is responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment. This role requires advanced clinical expertise in operating room procedures, patient safety, and surgical support in alignment with established nursing standards and facility protocols.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the Operating Room
• Assist surgical teams during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique, infection control, and patient safety standards
• Monitor patient condition before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Document all clinical care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prepare and maintain OR equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Respond effectively to emergency situations in the surgical setting
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state
• Minimum experience level consistent with Level 4 OR nursing competency
• Proven experience in Operating Room / Perioperative nursing
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
