CT Technologist – 12hr Night Shift (36 hrs/week)

Facility Overview
- 373 licensed beds (344 acute, 29 inpatient rehab)
- ED: 30 beds
- ICU: 46 beds
- PCU: 40 beds
- Observation: 70 beds
- OR Suites: 14
- No trauma designation
- Services: X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine (with Radiology Nursing support)
- TJC Stroke accredited
- Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility
Department Details
- Average inpatient census: ~400
- Volume: 160 studies/weekday; 120 studies/weekend
- Experience: Minimum 2 years (first-time travelers accepted)
Patient Types & Procedures
- ED, inpatient, observation, outpatient
- CT-guided invasive procedures
- Cases with anesthesia as needed
- Cardiac CT imaging (day shift, 7 days/week)
Shift & Scheduling
- Fri/Sat/Sun, 9p-9:30a (weekend position)
- On-call: Yes, 2-3 shifts/month
- Holidays: Travelers work 75%
- Floating: None
Requirements
- ARRT (Radiologic Technology) with advanced CT registry
- BLS
- Skills: Peripheral IV starts, venous/arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging (incl. perfusion), colorectal studies
- Preferred: TeraRecon knowledge
Support & Tech
- Support: Guest Services/Transport for inpatients & observation patients
- EMR: Epic
- RIS: Epic Radiant
- PACS: Philips iSite
- Equipment: 3 CT scanners (Siemens Definition AS 40, Siemens Force, Siemens Edge+); Bayer/Medrad Power Injectors
Orientation & Logistics
- Admin onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policies): 1 day
- Dept orientation: 2 days to 1 week (may include weekdays)
- Scrubs: Black
- Parking: Free surface lots & decks
