Description
✅ Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Active New York State RN License (in hand)
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience (within the last 3 years)
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) – Required
- Travel experience OR local NYC hospital experience
- Experience in Level I Trauma settings
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- Must be willing to float to units within skillset
- COVID-19 vaccination required prior to start date
- Completed skills checklist matching Cath Lab skillset
⭐ Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Strong experience in:
- Interventional Cath (PCI)
- Complex cardiac cases
- Familiarity with EMR systems
🏥 Unit & Work Environment Expectations
- High-acuity Cath Lab unit
- Fast-paced environment with critical cardiac cases
- Must be comfortable with:
- Floating within appropriate acuity units
- Adapting to changing assignments
⏱️ Schedule & Commitment
- 12-week contract
- Shift: 11.5-hour days (6:30 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Hours: 34.5 hours/week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
👕 Dress Code
- Option 1: Navy bottom + white top (dark shoes)
- Option 2: All white (white shoes)
