Travel CT Tech – Variable Shifts

 

📍 San Diego / San Marcos, California
📅 Start Date: 5/25
📆 13-Week Contract
⏰ 40 Hours/Week
🕐 5x8 Schedule

 

Openings Available

  • 1 CT Tech – Support all 3 North County hospitals (San Marcos area)
  • 1 CT Tech – Float between San Diego and Zion (Central region)

Shift Details

  • Variable shifts

San Marcos: Mostly evenings / graveyards
San Diego / Zion: Days, evenings, and occasional graveyards

  • Must work every weekend
  • On-call required: 3 shifts/month (Friday–Monday)
  • On-call may be scheduled before or after regular shift

Estimated Weekly Pay

💰 Approx. $3,660 Gross/Week

 

Job Details

  • Float between assigned facilities
  • Same protocols across service area
  • Local travelers accepted
  • No RTO preferred
  • Up to 3 days max RTO considered

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging for ED and inpatient populations
  • Handle high-acuity cases including Code Strokes
  • Assist with IR weekend procedures
  • Support biopsy and drainage cases
  • Maintain image quality and patient safety
  • EMR documentation

Equipment / Experience

  • GE scanner experience required
  • All scanners are GE64
  • San Marcos also has newer GE256 scanner

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years CT Tech experience
  • Must be comfortable working independently at times
  • Graveyard shift may include short periods working solo

Required Certifications

✔️ CT Certification
✔️ Venipuncture (10 hours)

 

Additional Requirements

  • All skills checklists must score 3.0+
  • COVID vaccine not required
