Job Opportunity: RN Medical/Surgical

Location: Mequon, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description

• Telemetry background required (ability to read telemetry).
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Must be willing to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within a 40-mile radius if needed.
• Nail policy: No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be short (less than 1/4 inch).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.

Additional Notes

• Onboarding includes completion of various required modules and attestations (e.g., Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding, Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules).
• A forward-facing badge photo with a white or blue background is required for onboarding.
• Some optional checklists may be required by unit leaders after start.
