Connected Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Local Travel Med/Surg RN for a reputable hospital in Hollister, California. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide quality patient care while enjoying a high-paying local travel assignment in a beautiful Central California location.
Job Description

• Deliver direct patient care to individuals with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition, medications, and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care as prescribed
• Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and post-hospital care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies

Education and Certification Requirements

• Active California RN License (unencumbered)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• PALS and ACLS required
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS) required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
