Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the inpatient hospital team on a night shift schedule (7 on / 7 off). The role focuses on medication management, clinical support, and ensuring safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Shift Details:

• Night Shift: 7 on / 7 off
• Shift Timing: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately
• Monitor drug therapy for safety, interactions, and effectiveness
• Provide clinical support and recommendations to healthcare teams
• Prepare and verify IV medications and sterile compounds
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
• Utilize Cerner for medication orders and documentation
• Support emergency medication needs during night shift
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist License (State-specific)
• 2–3 years of hospital (inpatient) pharmacy experience
• Experience with Cerner system (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

• PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy)
• IV Certification (e.g., Critical Point or equivalent)
• Experience in inpatient clinical pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and hospital workflows
