Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy setting. The RN will support pre-operative and PACU Phase II recovery workflows, ensuring safe and efficient patient care, including those undergoing cardiac and orthopedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative (Pre-Op) patient care, including assessments and preparation for procedures
• Manage PACU Phase II recovery, monitoring patients post-procedure
• Assist with moderate sedation procedures and patient monitoring
• Ensure safe and efficient patient flow and rapid turnover
• Care for patients undergoing outpatient surgeries and endoscopy procedures
• Support cases including open heart pre-op and total joint procedures
• Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
• Follow infection control and patient safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN License
• BLS & ACLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Strong clinical and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Outpatient Surgery / Endoscopy
• Experience in Pre-Op and PACU Phase II workflows
• Familiarity with moderate sedation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Work Setting:

• Outpatient Surgery Center / Endoscopy Unit
• High patient turnover environment
